Cadillac - Logo analysis

What is it?
This is a logo of the Cadillac company which is known for making luxury cars and limousines for the president of United States.

                                                      History
The Cadillac logo was made by Henry Martyn Leland in 1902.

The logo symbolises the descendants in the Cadillac family and it’s meant to represent the Cadillac family crest. The logo is also in the shape of a shield to represent the founder who belonged in the army.
The old logos of Cadillac had a crown which depicted the six ancient counts of France as the founder’s ancestor was French.
The colours in the logo, yellow, black, red, blue, grey and silver represent excellence, grandeur, creativity, passion, reliability and business responsibility.

What it means to me?
Luxury, prestige.
